When were you founded?‍

netpipe GmbH (product: mikko) was founded in 2018 by Robert Gregat and Jan Rentsch in Berlin.

What kind of service do you offer?‍

mikko is a hardware-based HaaS complete solution (GNSS surveying device ±2 cm, mobile/AR app, cloud) that precisely surveys infrastructure, documents it automatically, visualizes it, and will soon include AI-powered analytics.

How did you come up with the idea for your service?‍

It all started with the multi-billion euro problem of outdated utility and infrastructure data (“flying blind”), which causes over €2 billion in follow-up costs annually in the DACH region. The founders want to solve this by building a digital twin.

What’s your vision/mission?‍

We are building an AI-powered digital twin for infrastructure assets and creating an intelligent data ecosystem for precise, efficient, and scalable surveying.

Who is your target group?‍

Initial market: Network operators & service providers, construction and surveying companies.
Scaling: Landscaping, public sector, agriculture, and more.

What does your roadmap look like?

• mikko 2 hardware release – Fall 2025
• Cloud & AI platform expansion starting 2026
• 100 active systems + data pool by Q4/25; international scaling from 2027
